What's the cost of Cub Scouting?

Boys and their parents are responsible for a $17.50 registration fee with the National Boy Scouts of America, and also for purchasing a Cub Scout Uniform. Cub Scouts are also encouraged to subscribe to Boys' Life magazine. A one-year subscription costs $12.00.

Packs earn income by working on approved fund-raising projects such as popcorn sales. These projects can fund the pack's activities for the entire year. Financial assistance is available for families and for packs. Cub Scouting is also funded through voluntary Friends of Scouting contributions.
